2. Categories of Data
We may process identity and contact data (name, email, phone), account credentials, course progress, payment references (processed by payment partners — we do not store full card numbers), communications you send us, technical logs (IP address, browser type), and cookie identifiers described in our Cookie Settings page.
3. Purposes of Processing
Data is used to deliver courses, respond to inquiries, improve website performance, send cohort-related notices, issue certificates, meet legal obligations, and — with consent — analyze site usage.
4. Legal Bases
Processing rests on contract performance (enrollment), legitimate interests (security, service improvement), legal obligations (tax and record-keeping), and consent where required (non-essential cookies, optional marketing).
5. Retention
Enrollment records are retained for seven years where required for accounting and dispute resolution. Marketing consents are retained until withdrawn. Server logs are rotated typically within ninety days unless needed for security investigations.
6. Sharing with Third Parties
We use processors for hosting, email delivery, analytics (only if you opt in), and payment reconciliation. Processors are bound by contracts requiring appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal data.
7. International Transfers
Primary storage is in the Republic of Korea. If tools process data abroad, we assess safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms required under applicable Korean privacy rules.
8. Your Rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability where applicable under Korean law and the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). You may withdraw consent for optional processing without affecting essential services. Contact [email protected]; we respond within statutory timelines.
9. Security Measures
We apply access controls, encrypted transport (HTTPS), and staff training. No method of transmission is completely secure; report suspected incidents promptly.
10. Children
Services are directed at learners aged fifteen and older unless a guardian enrolls on behalf of a younger student with documented consent. We do not knowingly collect data from children without appropriate authorization.
11. Policy Changes
We update this Privacy Notice when practices change. Material updates will be highlighted on the website. The last-updated date appears at the top of this page.
